At Corner Barre, we understand the importance of variety in your workout. Whether you're looking for upbeat, full-body toning, a fat-torching cardio workout, or a relaxing yet challenging core-focused class, we can provide it. Our classes are designed so that people of different levels can participate by taking breaks on their own and getting modifications from the instructor. We offer low-impact barre, cardio barre, and Pilates and yoga-based barre classes.
The signature workout class, Core Barre, combines ballet stances, weights and Pilates for a low-impact, fat-burning workout. If you want sculpted thighs, a toned seat, flat abs and defined arms -- this class is perfect for you! Plan to do some free-standing lifting using light weights, some mat work, and of course, plenty of barre work. The class also incorporates stretching segments after each strengthening series, so you will also lengthen your body and increase flexibility while you tone. (All Levels - 60-minutes)
Core Barre EX
A full, amplified Core Barre class condensed into 50 minutes. Be prepared to take extra breaks as needed!
This cardio class combines barre work, boxing, and cardio-style intervals into a calorie-burning workout that will get you sweating in no time. Weighted gloves are provided. In addition to torching fat and getting your heart-rate up, you will be toning your entire arms and core throughout! Options are given for participants who want to modify the intensity of the workout. Wearing shoes is encouraged for people with injuries or join concerns. (Intermediate/Advanced Cardio - 50 or 60 minutes)
Barre Burner Step
Just like Barre Burner, Barre Burner STEP is a full-body, cardio interval workout. Comprised of intervals done on the floor and at the barre, this class will get your heart rate up and get you sweating. In Barre Burner STEP, your barre segments are done with a step nearby for added intensity and variety. The step is also used for arm and ab work at the end. You have the option of wearing our 1 lb weighted gloves and you can also choose to wear sneakers or bare feet. Modifications are given for participants who want to lower the intensity of the workout. This class is limited to 9 people so please sign up in advance. (Intermediate/Advanced Cardio - 50 minutes)
Our Pilates-focused barre workout is all about sculpting. Set to relaxing, yet energizing music, this class will challenge you with a unique arm segment, barre work, mat work, and Pilates. You will definitely feel it the next day! (All Levels - 60 minutes)
This 40 minute class will put you through quick cardio intervals using the barre, step, weights, gliders and your own body resistance. Shoes are recommended. This is an advanced cardio class with modifications for less intensity provided.
